John Wakefield

Chairman

John created the company in 1971 and registered it as M&W (Woolston) Electrics Limited in 1973.

He is the driving force behind the company and is committed to the old-fashioned values of customer service, quality workmanship and value for money.

Although recently retired, John still pops into the office on a regular basis to check everything is running to his satisfaction.

John adopted the role of Company Chairman in May 2016.

 

Dave Alban

Director

Dave joined the company in 1995 as an Estimator.

Dave implemented the Project Costing & Management systems during his early years with the company.

As well as doing some of the estimating, Dave manages contracts from our Malvern office.

Dave is a Qualified Supervisor for the NICEIC and became a Company Director in 2013.

 

Mark O’Toole

Assistant Contracts Manager

Mark started with the company in 2016 as the Electrical procurement manager and has proved to be a pivotal member of the team.

Marks role has evolved and as a fully qualified electrician, he has moved over to contract management and is involved in the estimating and tendering process as well managing contracts.

 

Eddie Pearson

Site Supervisor

Eddie is based in our Selfridges office in London, he overseas ongoing projects within Selfridges, also providing internal support.

Jane Wilks  

Administrator

Jane works along side Eddie in our Selfridges office in London, also handling all aspects of administration. 

 

Neil Farmery

Managing Director

 

Neil originally worked for the company in the 1990's as an Approved Electrician and Site Foreman. He returned to the company in 2010 as a Contracts Manager working alongside John and Dave.

Neil is the Principal Duty Holder for the NICEIC and has the responsibility for the company Health & Safety arrangements.

Neil became a Director in 2013 and was appointed as Managing Director in May 2016.

 

Vicki Neely

Office and Accounts manager

Vicki joined the company in 2003 and is responsible for the Sales and Purchase ledgers, expenses, and accounting.

Vicki is also Secretary to the Contracts Managers and assists with the coordination of the maintenance contracts.

Phil Hayes

Contracts Manager

Phil joined the company in 2021 and has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience with him.

Phil is involved in all aspects of contract management and has proved to be an invaluable asset.

Phil is also a Qualified Supervisor for the NICEIC

Ethan Salmons

Procurement Administrator

Ethan joined the company early 2023 as the procurement administrator.

He has completed his Procurement apprenticeship, gaining a Level 3 in CIPS.

He has now trained in CAD and will continue onto his level 4 CIPS
